The Honister Rambler at Swinside Lodge Hotel - Newlands, near Keswick

The Honister Rambler is one of the most scenic bus routes in England and as it happens it stops almost outside of our front door! We're located just up the road from bus stop number 9 on the map.

It’s an important service as it allows guests to visit Buttermere Lake together with other places as shown on the map with a starting/finishing place being Keswick itself if necessary. This means you can explore the area without getting into your car. It is an extremely picturesque drive over the Honister Pass just to get to Buttermere. We recommend following your ride by a walk around the lake - perfection!
